Do you only work in the Birmingham AL area?
I am available to work just about anywhere depending on the job and logistics. I've worked in Florida, Eufaula, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa, AL recently.
How did you get started in stone carving and how long have you been in business?
How do you carve stone?
Stone carving is a process that begins with an idea or concept. A stone of appropriate size and quality is then selected for the project. By using visual aids such as drawings, photos, and/ or models the carving is begun and taken to a finished product in a series of steps. The process is facilitated by the use of saws, chisels, hammers and files. With diligence, concentration, and a little luck the project goes as planned and the chips fall where they may.
What is the time frame for completing a project?
